Protecting Email Address Privacy

For security and privacy reasons, it is best to use the Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) feature when sending an email message to a large number of people. When you place email addresses in the BCC field of a message, those addresses are invisible to the recipients of the email. Conversely, any email addresses that you place in the To field or the CC field are visible to everyone who receives the message.

The mail was sent using PHP's mail function, which uses sendmail, which says it's using Exim. I've seen the command: sendmail -bp Which gives me a list of mail that appears was sent. This list isn't very big, and could be accurate (meaning the script timed out after sending only a hundred or so e-mails). Download Kutools for Outlook + Crack. Kutools for Outlook is a comprehensive set of tools designed to help you make the email sending, receiving and overall management simpler and more efficient. Following a quick and uneventful setup, you can access the extension from Outlook's toolbar.

How To Crack Bcc Email Function In Outlook

  1. Welcome to a tutorial on how to send an email to multiple addresses in PHP – That is setting multiple recipients, the CC, and BCC. Yes, while the PHP mail function may seem to only accept one recipient, we can actually address it to many people at the same time.
  2. We'll start with a refresher on CC. CC is the 'carbon copy' function found in every standard email platform, including Gmail, and it's used to send a copy of the email to someone other than the primary recipients in the 'To' field.

Benefits of Using BCC

Using the BCC field to send an email message to a large group of people has a number of benefits, including:

  • The privacy of email addresses is protected in the original message. Recipients will receive the message, but won't be able to see the addresses listed in the BCC field.
  • When an email is forwarded, the addresses of everyone in the To and CC fields are also forwarded along with the message. Addresses that have been placed in the BCC field are not forwarded.
  • If you have placed a large list of recipients in the To or CC field, all of them will receive the reply. By placing recipients in the BCC field, you can help protect them against receiving unnecessary replies from anyone using the Reply All feature.
  • Many viruses and spam programs are now able to sift through mail files and address books for email addresses. Using the BCC field acts as an anti-spam precaution. It reduces the likelihood that recipients will receive a spam message or a virus from another recipient's infected computer.

Tracking sales activity—knowing where a prospect is within the buyer's journey to understand the relationship dynamic—has always been and will continue to be top-of-mind for any modern sales person. With the abundance of data in a tech-heavy world, it also doesn't any easier. Here at Outreach we're always on the mission to help sales people master their craft and enjoy doing it. And that includes the team that makes sales possible—all the way from sales reps to sales operations and marketers on the front line.

A common challenge that many people in the sales realm come across is not being able to have full visibility into the buyer-to-seller conversation. Thankfully, there are solutions like BCC to Salesforce that have sought out to solve this problem in the early days of modern sales.

What is BCC to Salesforce?

BCC to Salesforce is a function within Salesforce CRM that gives sales reps the option to track sent emails to prospects and customers on any device, on any email client, whether it's Gmail or Outlook. By blind carbon copying a designated email address onto a rep's emails, they're able to log email activity under the Salesforce record. Sales reps can have visibility into the history of a contact—how they've interacted with them in the past, using that information to prepare for the future—and focus their time on more important tasks. Some of the many benefits to using BCC to Salesforce include:

  • Logging emails into your Salesforce CRM records. Before BCC to Salesforce emailing—and having it logged into the appropriate records—outside of your Salesforce instance wasn't possible. Every email sent using BCC to Salesforce gets saved where it needs to be for you to keep records and utilize in future interactions.
  • Being able to use it on any device and no downloads required.

Setting up BCC to Salesforce

First, ask your Salesforce administrator whether you have BCC to Salesforce enabled. Next you'd have to find the designated email within your Salesforce instance by going into your set up through clicking your name on the top right side of the instance. You'll then click into 'My Email to Salesforce' where you'll find your automatically generated email address link. Once you've obtained your designated email, go ahead and create a contact to associate the email address with for easy access. Now, you should be able to quickly add the BCC to Salesforce contact to any email you send regardless of client.

While BCC to Salesforce has undoubtedly reshaped the way sales reps approach day-to-day selling—particularly when it comes to tracking activity—there are many drawbacks:

  • Having to manually—and consistently—add the email in BCC. One flaw in relying solely on BCC to Salesforce alone is that sales reps may not always add the designated email as a blind carbon copy. They may simply forget or not have time.
  • You only end up having visibility into half of the conversation. Since the email tracking is dependent on the sales rep adding the designated BCC to Salesforce email as a recipient, any emails being sent from the prospect are not logged into the Salesforce record.
  • The setup can be lengthy. Now imagine if you have 10's to 100's of sales reps on your team. Having to manually go in there and have the rep transfer the designated email link over as a saved contact can be tedious onboarding especially for newer reps. Rather than spending valuable time on operational logistics in the software they use, they could spend more time actually building relationships with prospects and customers.

Luckily in the modern era of the sales stack, there are solutions out there to give sales reps the freedom to focus more on selling without having to worry about adding Salesforce's designated email to BCC, yet still produce the same results, if not better.
